Corvette finished first and second in the GT1 during this event. Oliver Gavin, Olivier Beretta, and Max Papis crossed the finish line first in the C6R number 4 followed closely by the number 3 C6R and the team of Johnny O’connell, Ron Fellows and Jan Magnussen.
Before the start of this event, the number 3 Corvette livery colours were changed by replacing all the body panels to reflect the Ron Fellows Edition Corvette colour scheme. This is a wonderful tribute to a great driver that has been there to help the Corvette Teams win 6 aLMS GT1 Championships.

Congratulations to the complete Corvette Racing enterprise for a great start to the ALMS season.

Spring is officially here, the Wilson Niblett Annual Tech Session is being held this Saturday March 17th in our new dealership!
Traditionally this event has been the kick-off to the Corvette season each year. As always we will have a stellar group of Corvettes on hand for display. Since the theme of the event this year is “Corvette – A Performance Legacy”, we have gathered high performance optioned Corvettes from each era for the session. To add to those cars, we have invited several owners of Corvettes used for racing along with several highly modified street versions.
Several of our Technicians will give a seminar on Corvette maintenance and modifications. The Team Targa Corvette will be on hand and they will recount some of their experiences during the Targa Newfoundland event. John Powell of Powell Skill Driving will be explaining the merits of learning to drive your Corvette to safely get the best performance from it.
The action starts at 1:00 pm, be sure and get there before that time so you can register. To speed things up, you can Pre-Register on-line at www.wilsonniblett.com
See you there!

The 2007 Wilson Niblett Corvette Tech Session – Corvette: A Performance Legacy was a great success. We had a terrific turnout with nearly 400 people through the course of the day. For those of you that could not make it to the event, we have posted some pictures. These just show a portion of the event and do not convey the excitement of the day.
The complete Wilson Niblett facility was host to Corvette enthusiasts from all over Ontario. There were attendees from Windsor, Ottawa, Smith Falls, London and of course the GTA. There was trememndous Corvette Club support with many folks from Corvette Club of Ontario, National Corvette Restorers Society, Corvettes of Durham, Niagara Corvette Club, Pine Ridge Corvette Club, Upper Canada Corvette Club, Stoney Creek Corvette Club, Golden Triangle Corvette Club, and this list just goes on.
We thank everyone for their support and enthusiasm and look forward to seeing everyone at the Tech Session next year!
