There is lots of excitement and anticipation throughout the Corvette community at large when it comes to the up coming release of the new Super Corvette originall dubbed the Blue Devil. There have been many names for the car that have floated around the media, Blue Devil, SS Corvette, Manta Ray, Stingray, ZL1 and the latest is the ZR1.
There have been many spy photos that have surfaced on the net and in print some of them bogus but most of them very real. These are traditionally pics of “mule” testing cars that may not carry the final release bodywork. Lately there have been some very good shots that have surfaced of a Blue Devil / ZL1 Corvette test car being driven on the open road. The best of all these spy photos is a video that was posted by Fast Lane Daily on the website VetteTube.com.
