This has been a much anticipated day!  The first 2008 Corvette Indy Pace Car just rolled off the truck at Wilson Niblett Corvette.  Our first unit is a convertible and we are expecting the 2008 Corvette Indy Pace Car Coupe to arrive tommorow.

Saturday will be a fun day with the National Corvette Restorers Society, Ontario Chapter holding their Annual Judging Meet on our premises while we are holding a Corvette Sale.  The showroom is filled with Corvettes and it will be great to watch the Coupe being delivered to us during all the excitement!

Drop by and see the new Pacer.  It looks even better in person than the photos!

Staff Track Day & Product Evaluation May 19, 2008

Since our creation of the Wilson Niblett Performance Corvette Driving Experience sessions, we have had a lot of questions from some of the staff as to what this type of session is all about.  We explained in great depth, the intense program that John Powell and his Skills Driving Team have created exclusively for Wilson Niblett Performance, but nothing beats a hands on experience.  While we could not take a group of Corvettes out to the track, we planned a less intense session for the current Chevrolet sedans.
This past week, we took a group consisting of staff from our Sales, Service, Parts and Executive Teams for a special ride.  We took two 2008 Malibus, 2008 Impala SS, Base Cobalt, and a Base Impala 6 cyl for an Engineering Product Evaluation style drive to the Mosport International Raceway.
We went through some Driver Skills Training that included accident avoidance manouvers, braking techniques and timed slalom runs.  The highlight of the day was of course the many laps around the Mosport Grand Prix Track to evaluate (and truly appreciate) the engineering that goes into these fine General Motors Products.   In total stock form they handle and brake extremely well.  All this while they offer a very comfortable and quiet ride quality.
Our main intention is to allow the staff to experience the higher capabilities of our products, while maintaining a controlled and very safe off road environment.  This experience taught the staff the basics of cornering techniques and gave them a first hand feeling of what their skill levels could achieve on the track.  It also displayed the ability of the modern Chevrolet sedans, especially the new 2008 Malibu, both in 6cyl and 4 cyl formats!
The above video was taken from inside the 2008 Impala SS, we hope you enjoy watching it!  We sure had fun at the track!

This new Z44 427 Tribute Corvette has created so much excitement around here!  Everyone that has seen this stellar Corvette loves the look of it.  This colour is stunning on a Z06.  The pictures do not do it justice, you must see one in real life.

When these Z44 option Corvettes were first announced to the Corvette community, we had one of our clients purchase the car before it was built!  He and his wonderful family have been eagerly awaiting the delivery of this impressive Corvette.

This Corvette is one of only 20 Z44 Corvettes slated for delivery in Canada .  On May 13th this proud owner took possession of this gleaming new monster.

He is so excited about this Z06 that he has signed up to attend our Wilson Niblett Performance Corvette Driving Experience at Mosport International Raceway on June 5th!

Collector car or not….Corvettes are meant to be driven!

There has been a lot of excitement and anticipation with regard to the new Z44 427 Tribute Corvettes.  We received the first one yesterday and it is already sold!  This client was so excited that he had made his purchase decision before the car was built.

This Z44 Corvette looks even better in person than it did in marketing photos!  The combination of the Crystal Red and the special chrome wheels really makes an impression.

We have one more of these beautiful Z44 / Z06 Corvettes available, and jusging from the amount of interest that it has generated, it will not last long!
